Join Our Team and Work on Major National Grid Projects

NCS is currently seeking experienced 360 Machine Operators with NG Persons certification to join our team for National Grid substation projects in Rugeley. If you have a strong background in operating 360 excavators and hold the necessary National Grid qualifications, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As a 360 Machine Operator with NG Persons certification, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavators on critical National Grid sites. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating 360 excavators to perform digging, trenching, and other earth-moving activities on National Grid substation sites
• Ensuring all work complies with National Grid safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth project progress
• Completing tasks such as material handling, backfilling, and grading in a precise and timely manner
• Conducting routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Adhering to strict health and safety standards, especially in high-risk environments

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 Excavators
• NG Persons certification (National Grid Competency)
• Proven experience operating 360 machines, particularly on substation or similar sites
• Strong understanding of National Grid safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work safely in high-risk environments

 

Job Details:

• Location: Rugeley
• Contract: Full-time, with hours varying by project
• Rate: Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience
